Our company was incepted in the year 2006 by our CEO, Mr. Sunil R Eamani with the overriding goal of ensuring employment and fair wages for the company’s employees, who hand-stitch crewel fabrics, crewel rugs, Crewel pillows, crewel furnishings and high end fabrics and furnishings. As a trained engineer from India with an MBA from [a U.S. university] and 10-plus years of experience in corporate America, I saw the plight of the workers and decided to do something about it.” Eamani’s strategy Do a better job than the unscrupulous exporters, while supporting fair trade practices. His new company, MDS Fabrics, fairly and efficiently manages all aspects of the supply chain, including manufacturing, exporting, importing and wholesaling, to the benefit of the owners and employees alike. Eamani also started a rug division in 2007 that, he said, is improving working conditions for rug makers.

PRODUCTS
MDS Fabrics believes in keeping promises suppliers and exporters of designer embroidery fabrics. Our catalog includes various home furnishing items such as crewel, silk, velvets, linens, blends, rugs, decorative pillow covers, drapes, throws, bedding, quilts, handmade fashion handbags, etc. Our company has its reputed clientele located in various countries like North America- USA, Canada, Mexico, South America- Brazil, Europe, U.K, Italy, Asia- India, China, Australia and New Zealand.

Strategies
Our company is similar to new class of US textile companies that are influenced by the three strategies i.e. flow of goods, flow of information and flow of capital. Our strategy for excellent flow of goods has eliminated the need for warehouses as the retailer directly contacts any of our headquarters’ in respective areas. The flow of information is well supported by the web based order tracking system that perfectly suits our staffing and cash flow needs. The flow of capital is maintained by the profit programs that help in winning the support of retailers.

Programs
We offer various profits programs and free web presence to our customers. The profit programs help the retailers to deal with ease as we facilitate the retailers, who did not sell 50% of the total quantity purchased, to return back the unsold fabrics. On the other hand, free web presence fulfills the need of customers to deal with us in digital way. The customers are provided this service if they order at least for once in a year or pay a nominal of $99 for not placing any order. This also facilitates in development at reasonable prices using offshore and onshore development teams.

Merchandising Projects
We provide free laptop or 10 percent discount on the purchase of $5000 during the trade show. To strengthen out projects we have moved our global headquarters to U.S.A. The advance techniques are helpful in maintaining a better relationship with the customer.
